Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO)

CIRO is the self-regulatory organization that oversees all investment dealers and mutual fund dealers in Canada. CSI is CIRO’s primary proficiency partner. By completing specific CSI courses, you’re on your way to meeting the requirements for the CIRO’s registration categories. Completing the Canadian Securities Course (CSC®) is the base securities course requirement for a Registered Representative (Investment Advisor). Canadian Securities Administrators

The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) is the umbrella organization of Canada’s provincial and territorial securities regulators. The CSA sets licensing requirements for several roles in the securities sector in Regulation 31-103. Several CSI courses are recognized in this rule.

CSI sets the proficiency requirements for life insurance regulators. CSI is an accredited provider of the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) pre-licensing training program. CSI’s LLQP Insurance Course prepares you for the LLQP provincial exam.
