Objective

This platform aims to provide thought-leadership and real-world training to financial professionals, clients, and the investing public. We do not allow direct or indirect promotion of products and services. If any webinar attendee would like to avail of your products or services, they can get in touch after the webinar.

Permission

The speakers' responsibility is to take the necessary permissions and approvals from their employers to speak at a CSI Webinar. Speakers will be featured in various forms of media—including print, online, and out-of-home advertising—as required to promote the webinar and/or other CSI products.

Content

The content and presentation materials should not contain any information or imagery that can cause copyright, trademark or domain name infringement, privacy violations, libel or slander. Claims by our speakers should be accurate to the best of the speaker's understanding at the time and should be based on information that has survived scrutiny by experts in the field. Speakers are expected to be transparent about the basis for any factual claims and provide credits and information to support their statements. If a claim is based on aspirational work or ideas without real-world examples, that context must be made clear during the webinar.

How do I become a speaker?

To become a CSI Podium speaker, fill out this form as detailed as possible. Your application will directly go to our speaker selection team.

Can I suggest someone I work for or a client of mine to become a speaker?

Yes, you can share the link to the application form so that they can fill it out.

What is the process of becoming a speaker / What happens after I submit the speaker form?

The CSI council will review your application and reach out to you over email within 5-10 business days.

What is the eligibility criteria?

We will review your topic, profile, industry knowledge/experience and past speaking engagements (if any) and make a decision based on the available information. We recommend that you share as detailed information as possible to help us make review your application.

What information I need to share on my speaker form?

To help us review your application, please share your basic profile details, the topic of interest that you would like to speak on, and links to past speaking engagements.

Can I partner with a colleague to speak on a topic?

Yes. Both speakers will be required to fill out the application form, mentioning the name(s) of the person you'd like to partner with.

Will I be awarded CE credits if I conduct a webinar as a CSI Podium speaker?

Yes, you will be awarded CE credits for giving back to the community. These CE credits only apply to all CSI designations. They are not valid for CIRO or other professional associations.

How long are the webinars?

Our webinars are usually one hour long, including 5 minutes for introductions, 40-45 minutes for the webinar topics and 10-15 minutes for Q&A.

What do you pay speakers?

This is a voluntary and complementary platform for experienced CSI designation holders to reach out to a larger audience of financial professionals and the general public. We do not pay speakers. CSI bears the cost to promote and conduct the webinars.

Can I promote the webinar to my audience?

Yes, you can share the CSI promotional post/content through your personal network, website, social media channels, etc.
