CSI works hard to promote the CIM® letters on behalf of our designation holders. Our goal is to build awareness of the CIM® - emphasizing its value to the financial services community, employers and the investing public. We do this through advertising and public relations campaigns across print, digital and out-of-home media.

2014 Campaigns

It's that time of year again when we launch a national marketing campaign to promote your CIM® across Canada. This multi-channel, integrated campaign includes national print and online advertising, public relations and social media promotion. Our goal is to build awareness, and emphasize the value of your designation to the industry, employers, and the investing public.

The campaign will run from September 2014 to the end of February 2015. Last year’s campaign received so much positive feedback that we decided to follow the same trend and promote your designations through ambassadors once again. Thank you to those who submitted an application to participate in the campaign. We will begin recruiting again next May 2015, but if you think YOU would be an ideal ambassador, email us and let us know why!

What makes Advisors successful in their job? What makes their job rewarding?

This year, CSI ran a survey focused on the human side of financial advice. Advisors shared what they have learned through both positive and negative experiences, and how they defined their path as a financial professional. We will showcase these insights through Twitter and Facebook so keep an eye out for the hashtag #AdviceforAdvisors
