Guide to International Investing

IMPORTANT

As of January 2nd, 2020 this course will no longer be available for sale.

Help clients understand the risks and rewards of international investment

The growth of global markets and deregulation has lead to rapid growth in international investing. Not surprisingly, clients are increasingly becoming interested in more diverse investment options as they seek to maximize their returns. Financial advisors need to gain the knowledge and expertise to explain the advantages and disadvantages of investing in international products and markets.

The Guide to International Investing (GII) course gives professionals confidence and credibility

GII will give students the confidence to advise clients on how to safely build and manage an investment portfolio featuring international investment product options. Being able to review the pros and cons of international products and markets requires a specific skill set that will be appreciated by both clients and institutions. GII will appeal to investment advisors or wealth advisors who are active in Canadian markets but would like to knowledgeably inform their clients about potential international investment opportunities.

Who should enrol?

The Guide to International Investing (GII) course is designed for advisors who are active in Canadian markets but would like to expand their knowledge of international investing. This includes investment advisors and wealth advisors and individuals who are licensed to sell securities and have professional development or CE requirements.
