This three-hour Professional Development course will teach students about the psychological, social and neurological changes in aging clients, the health care risks they face, and the long-term care solutions.

Upon completion of the course students will be able to:

  • Describe how psychological, social and neurological changes affect the decision-making process of aging clients
  • Identify various health-related issues aging clients face
  • Explain why advisors must understand the implications of dealing with clients suffering from dementia
  • Differentiate various long-term care solutions
  • Create a friendly environment for elderly clients
  • Identify the keys to successful long-term care planning

As a professional development CE course, Working with Aging Clients (WWAC) will be of interest to IAs as well as PFP and CSWP™ designation holders who want to keep their designation in good standing and who are interested in nurturing long-term relationships with their high net worth clients.
