CSC® Review Webinars

 

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM CSC® REVIEW WEBINARS?

The CSC® Review Webinars will help you review and brush up on the CSC® course content and help you prepare to write your exam with confidence. The instructor will only help you revise and validate your understanding of the course content; they will not be teaching the course. You are expected to have read through the course textbook before booking the webinars to ensure you fully benefite from the review sessions.

Please note that the webinars are solely for review purposes—attendance does not guarantee that you will pass the CSC® exams.

WHAT IS THE WEBINAR SCHEDULE?

The CSC® Review Webinars comprise of six sessions of two hours each for CSC volume I and volume II respectively. You can take these six sessions for each volume over a three week period. Below are the upcoming CSC Review Webinars' cohorts for CSC volumes I and II.

Details of our CSC® Review Webinars are available on our website. Registration should be made online via this website. Please choose the correct CSC course version and volume that you are interested in to view all available sessions and then proceed to register.

Yes, two separate webinar cohorts—for volumes I and II—are available to purchase separately.

We understand that different people have different learning styles. Therefore, we plan to offer multiple webinar sessions throughout the year for our students to select the session that suit their needs. In terms of timing, we recommend that you book your webinars at least one month before you are scheduled to write your CSC® exam.

Based on past trends, we have noticed that most people write their exam for volume I in four months after enrolment, and exam for volume II eighth months after enrolment. Therefore, we recommend that you book the revision webinars for volume I three months after enrolling for the CSC® and volume II seven months post-enrolment.

If a cohort is full, we can put you on the waitlist and provide you with alternate dates. Please submit your request to customer_support@csi.ca, and a representative will be in touch with you within 48 hours.

When you complete the enrollment, you will receive a registration confirmation to the email address you provided.

Currently, we are offering the CSC® Review Webinars in English only.

We recommend that you plan ahead to attend these session and block your calendar well in advance. If you miss a web class, you will not be allowed to sit for a later session.

For copyright and identity theft purposes, we will not provide webinar recordings.

The CSC® Review Webinars are designed to help you review and brush up on the CSC® course content and help you prepare to write your exams. To make the most of the review sessions, you are required to have read through the course textbook and completed the practice tests after each chapter. Please note that the instructor will only help you revise and validate your understanding of the course content; they will not be teaching the course.

The CSC® Review Webinars are comprised of six sessions of two hours each for CSC Volume I and Volume II, respectively. You can take these sessions for each volume over a three-week period. The timing for each live session is from 6 pm to 8 pm Eastern time.

We encourage you to actively participate in the webinar session by answering and asking questions, as well as seeking clarification on concepts that you may need additional help with.

You will not receive a certificate for attending the CSC® Review Webinars.

Completing the CSC® Review Webinars will not earn you any continuing education (CE) credits. The webinars are designed to help you review and brush up on the CSC® course content and help you prepare to write your exams.

You will receive a registration confirmation email upon successful completion of online registration. You will be able to access your course details and joining instructions within your CSI student account immediately. Additionally, an email with course details, and joining instructions will be be sent to you separately, within five days after your registration.

Please do check your junk mail or spam folder for emails from CSI in case you are not able to see these emails in your inbox.

If you still cannot locate these emails, please write to us at customer_support@csi.ca and we will have them re-sent to you.

Where unforeseen circumstances apply, if a cohort is cancelled, our representatives will offer you the next available dates or provide you with a full refund.

If a participant wishes to cancel and receive a refund in full, they must provide a minimum of 30 days' advance notice. All the registrations for webinars coming within 30 days of session start date are non-refundable.

The webinars will be conducted through Cisco WebEx. Students can join live, interactive sessions from a device located anywhere in the world, and engage with experienced instructors and like-minded professionals. The sessions ensure a high level of engagement using a broad range of online interactive features—including chat, polling and Q&A.

Registrants attending a CSC® Review Webinars should note the start times in their local time zones. Upon receipt of the welcome email with joining instructions, registrants should test their IT set up to ensure they do not encounter difficulties on the day of the session. Attendance at a CSI webinar session requires the following for the best experience.

Headset Requirement:

The CSC® Review Webinars will be using computer audio (VoIP) and telephony. We recommend that you use a headset with a microphone to minimize any background noise.

Internet Recommendation:

DSL/ethernet cable (wired connection) is recommended. If ethernet is not available, use a strong, reliable WiFi connection. Logging into the course via a VPN or via WiFi may cause unstable audio streaming and connection. Attendees must shut down all other computer applications that connect with the Internet (i.e., email) and disconnect from your VPN. If using WiFi, move as close as possible to the router. We recommend that you view the internet connection and other requirements from WebEx.

Additional recommendations:

Please use a personal device if you encounter IT restrictions via a company-owned computer. To get the full virtual experience, we recommend attending the seminar using a laptop or desktop computer (versus mobile devices or tablets).
