Laws of Estates and Trusts (LET)

Managing estates and trusts requires a wealth of legal knowledge of trust agreements and wills.  This includes knowing how they are prepared, their legal requirements, and procedures upon implementation. It also takes an innate understanding that client interests are to be monitored and potential liabilities identified and addressed.  

The Laws of Estates and Trusts (LET) course

The LET course prepares advanced professionals in estates and trust  with the opportunity to increase their understanding of the advanced legal aspects of trusts, wills , asset distribution and estate management. It also aids them in identifying potential liabilities or procedures to be implemented in managing the estate. This is one of the required courses for the MTI® Estate and Trust Professional designation.

Tax officers, estate planners, financial planners and wealth management professionals  may also  find this useful in providing them with information on trust services available to clients.
