Who Should Enrol
You should enrol in this course if you currently are, or aspire to be a Small Business Advisor, Small Business Account Manager or Branch Manager.
Through a combination of innovative online learning tools, students will gain the knowledge they need to guide small business owners in the financial aspects of their operations.
Students will gain the knowledge and confidence required to:
- Understand business ownership classifications such as sole proprietor, partnership, and corporation - and the pros and cons for each
- Understand small business operations, the construction of financial statements and general accounting principles
- Review financial ratios and understand their value in assessing business strengths and weaknesses
- Align owners' personal financial situations with their businesses

** In order to provide some guidance to course participants as to the length of time it will take to be sufficiently prepared to write the final examination, CSI has prepared this estimate of the number of hours an average participant could possibly expect to spend studying for a course. This course has an online test (not proctored) component which students must pass. This includes testing of all material covered within the course. The test questions are randomly generated and the mark is documented in the student record and archived in the student profile per attempt.

*Students will have three attempts ONLY to complete the test for this course. There is no additional charge for the second or third attempts. If you fail all three attempts you will have to re-enrol in the course.
