The number of affluent Canadians has doubled over the past decade and many of them are entering or have already transitioned into retirement.
Never before has there been such a demand for expert wealth managers. Today's high net worth clients want sound advice from someone who understands their complex and changing needs.
The path to the Certificate in Estate Planning and Trust Strategy is specifically designed to support your career specialization as a wealth manager and attest that you have the skills and knowledge that reflect today's estate planning and trust industry practices. It is the only program of its kind in Canada and is an important stepping stone to becoming a knowledgeable, well rounded wealth manager.
As of July 2012, candidates are given 5 years to apply for the certificate once all courses have been completed. This requirement will ensure that an individual has a current level of knowledge when the certificate is granted. If an individual wishes to request a certificate after the five years has expired, the individual will be required to re-take the Advanced Estate and Trust Strategies course.
