FCSI® Logos and Trademark Display Guidelines
Those awarded the Fellow of CSI (FCSI) have attained one of the highest achievements in the financial services industry.
To instil pride in this accomplishment and to promote the Fellow, we encourage FCSIs to use the distinctive FCSI trademarks on their business cards and other sales materials.
The FCSI trademarks are owned by the Canadian Securities Institute. (“CSI”). CSI grants practising FCSIs the right to use the FCSI trademarks.
The FCSI trademarks are:
- “Fellow of CSI® ”
- “FCSI® ”
- The FCSI logo
These are important symbols that distinguish FCSIs, and we want to ensure that usage is consistent and reflects the highest professional image. Therefore, all members must adhere to the guidelines set out below.
Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with these guidelines. Then, you may use the trademarks as often as you wish within these approved guidelines.
By using “FCSI” in your business materials and literature, you'll not only be identifying yourself a top professional in the industry you'll also be helping to build awareness of the industry’s pinnacle credential.
GUIDELINES
There are 4 ways to represent the FCSI:- Logo
- Acronym
- Logo and Acronym
- Words
In all cases, the FCSI trademarks you choose to use must be associated with the individual and appear after the individual's name. None of the FCSI trademarks may be used as a corporate identification for any company or organization, or incorporated into a corporate logo.
Logo
If you wish to use the FCSI trademark that is the FCSI logo shown below, you must reproduce it in its entirety, and it must be reproduced only from the artwork provided below.- The logo may not be altered, modified, typeset, hand-drawn or computer-scanned
- The preferred usage is after an individual's name on a business card
- The letters in the FCSI logo should be large enough to be legible:
- As an alternative, the FCSI logo may be displayed on a business card, in which case it should be positioned so that it is not crowded by other graphic imagery or typography
- Leave a clear space around the logo that is at least equal in size to the height of the letters in the FCSI logo:

Acronym
The “FCSI” trademark may be used after the individual's name.
- “FCSI” must appear in caps, without periods between the letters, and in the same type size and typeface as the person's name:
