PROMOTING THE FCSI®

CSI works hard to promote the prestigious FCSI® letters on behalf of our Fellows. Our goal is to build awareness of the FCSI® - emphasizing its value to the financial services community, employers and the investing public. We do this through advertising and public relations campaigns across print, digital and out-of-home (transit) media.

Have a look at the FCSI® letters in the marketplace.

Congratulations to our recent 2014 FCSI Graduates!

The goal is to build widespread public awareness, and emphasize the value of your Fellowship to the industry, employers, and the investing public.

The campaign will run from September 2014 to the end of February 2015. What makes Advisors successful in their job? What makes their job rewarding?
This year, CSI ran a survey focused on the successes and failures of financial professionals. Advisors shared what they have learned through both positive and negative experiences, and how they defined their path as a financial professional. The public relations campaign focuses on the trend towards professionalization of advice and the fact that designations are increasingly becoming necessary to compete in financial services today. It was informed by extensive focus groups and one-on-one interviews with financial professionals and industry leaders. See below to read more or click here for the full article.

Distinguished Leadership in Financial Services

FCSIs represent the highest calibre of financial services professionals. The FCSI is a challenging credential to obtain and maintain because of its stringent requirements, making the Fellows some of the most dedicated in financial services.

As industry leaders and ambassadors, FCSIs are charged with elevating financial services to the highest standards, focusing on the betterment of the industry and setting precedents for future leaders.

Covering All Aspects of Financial Services

While financial services designations may specialize in a particular area of the industry (e.g., investment management, financial planning, derivatives and risk management, etc.), the Fellow covers all areas. This means that you can hold the most senior Canadian financial services credential in your field of expertise.

In addition, FCSIs are required to expand their education by taking courses outside of their realm of expertise. This means that you can add value to your work because not only are you an expert in your field, but you also have a comprehensive understanding of the industry.

The Mark of Excellence

The "FCSI" letters are the mark of a highly qualified and trusted financial services professional. FCSIs bring leadership to their clients, the organization they work for and the Canadian financial services industry in general.
