At the Exam Centre

 What Do I Need To Bring To The Exam Centre?

You must bring the following items to each examination:

  1. Your student identification number.
  2. A non-programmable calculator and pencil. Please refer to the FAQ's for a list of acceptable calculators.
  3. A valid government issued photo identification that bears your signature.

 How Early Do I Need To Arrive At The Exam Centre?

It is important that you are seated at least 15 minutes before the start time of your exam. No additional time will be provided to students who arrive late for their exam. Students who arrive more than 15 minutes after the exam has started will be required to reschedule. They will be charged a rescheduling fee.

 Do Ontario, New Brunswick & Yukon Territory Have Any Special CIC Requirements?

ONTARIO, NEW BRUNSWICK & YUKON TERRITORY

On successful completion of this course you will be able to download the LLQP Certificate of Successful Completion available through your student profile. You will need to present this Certificate as proof of completion when writing your LLQP exam. This certificate will display:

  • A unique course provider A unique course provider ID number
  • Exam type (Full Version or Accident & Sickness)
  • Your name as it appears in your student profile (your name must match your government issued picture identification)
  • Expiry date

Candidates must have their manager or one that holds any of the following credentials in good standing witness and sign the LLQP Certificate of Successful Completion: Fellow of CSI®, CIM®, CIWM, MTI®, PFP®, CFP, CLU or CHS.

Candidates must show the witness two pieces of ID. One is their government issued picture ID and the other is any ID that bears the candidates signature. You will need to present the same two pieces of ID when you write your provincial exam.

You and your witness MUST sign the LLQP Certificate of Successful Completion in blue ink. This will avoid any issues with authenticity.
