 Course Cancellations/Withdrawals

CSI Courses

To be eligible for a refund, you must submit your request online or by completing a Course Cancellation Form to CSI within 14 days of your enrolment. You will receive a refund for the cost of your course enrolment, less a $175 cancellation fee.

Refunds are not available for textbooks, exam related fees, extension fees, frames, certificate replacements, CSI study / course support tools or any online course product such as Continuing Education courses and courses available online that have no proctored exam.

Note: Scotiabank students must cancel through your corporate Learning Management System (LMS).

No refunds are granted after the initial 14 days following your enrolment.

CSI Seminars*

To be eligible for a refund, you must submit a Course Cancellation Form to CSI at least 14 days before the seminar date. You will receive a refund for the cost of your seminar enrolment, less a $100 cancellation fee.

No refunds are granted for cancellation requests received less than 14 days before the start of the seminar.

Online Products

Online products purchased are not returnable or refundable.

Classroom Courses*

To be eligible for a refund, you must submit a Course Cancellation Form to CSI.

If you request a cancellation 30 days or more before the start of the in-class session and:

  • the books have not yet been shipped, you will receive a refund for your enrolment fee, less a $50 cancellation fee.
  • the books have been shipped, you will receive a refund of your enrolment fee, less a $200 cancellation fee.

If you request a cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the in-class session, you will receive a refund for the cost of your classroom course enrolment, less a 40% cancellation fee.

When the enrolment fee is paid by an employer, the employer will receive a refund for the classroom course enrolment, less the applicable cancellation fee.

No refunds are granted for cancellation requests received after the start of the in-class session.

Corporate seminars and classroom courses

The cancellation / refund policy is stated in the contract signed by the corporate client. Please refer to your company’s contact.

Withdrawals

If you have missed the deadline to cancel your course to obtain a partial refund and you still wish to withdraw from your course please note that your enrollment cannot be reinstated. All withdrawals are final.
