Policies & Guidelines: Seminars
CSI reserves the right to cancel any seminar.
Please DO NOT make any travel arrangements until you have received an email confirming the session details (i.e., exact location, start and end times).
For all seminars, two confirmation emails will be sent to you. Upon enrolment, you will receive a confirmation that your request for the seminar has been processed. Approximately 2 weeks before the start of the session, another email confirmation will be sent to you that will include the session details. For the Ethics and the Ethics, You and the Corporation seminars, this second email will be sent approximately 4 weeks before the start of the session. Please ensure that we have your correct email address on file. You can verify or modify your email address in your student profile in MY CSI.
Will I get my money back if CSI cancels a seminar?
If you are enrolled in a seminar that is cancelled by CSI, you will be given a full refund and, when available, the choice of an alternate date for the same seminar. You will be notified by email that a seminar has been cancelled approximately 2 weeks before the start of a session (4 weeks in the case of Ethics and Ethics, You and the Corporation seminars).
If I enrolled in a seminar and decided that I cannot attend. What are my options?
As a result of extensive pre-planning required for the Effective Management Seminar, you cannot change your enrolment date in this seminar and cannot obtain a partial refund should you cancel. However, your employer may send a substitute in your place.
