The Chief Financial Officer Qualifying Examination (CFO) course prepares you for a career as a CFO with a CIRO investment dealer. The course is designed to ensure you can demonstrate the required level of proficiency for financial reporting rules with a CIRO investment dealer.
What skills will you develop?
The CFO provides comprehensive coverage of financial reporting standards, dealer member regulations, corporate governance practices and risk management procedures. You’ll learn to effectively manage a firm’s capital and demonstrate professional competence. The course also focuses on the specific requirements of CIRO Form 1.

The course will help learners understand financial reporting rules with a CIRO investment dealer and gain a solid understanding of regulatory requirements.
